Office Administrator
Job Profile:
We are seeking a
highly analytical individual with an accounting/HR background as well as a
comprehensive understanding of payroll processes and related accounting
tasks.The position will handle all facets of accounting functions to
include A/R, A/P, Payroll, cash management, financial statement preparation,
general ledger keeping for multiple books, facilitate day to day office
administration and liaise with IT.
Education/Experience:
Successful
candidate will have a combination of education and experience commensurate with
a Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 3-5 years of related
accounting experience with multiple locations/sets of books.
Knowledge and
experience with Quick Books is required.
Candidate must be flexible and have an upbeat
personality
Skills and Abilities
Requirements:
- Strong
computer skills required, i.e., Microsoft Excel skills and Quick Books
- Ability to perform
work accurately, thoroughly, timely
- Strong analytical
skills; detail oriented
- Organization -
ability to maintain proper files/records and ability to prioritize tasks
and work
- Excellent written
and verbal communication skills
- Maintains
confidentiality and integrity with all written and verbal communication
- Understands and
complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Demonstrated team
player and customer/service oriented

Project Manager, Economic Development
Job Profile
This position is responsible for managing a
variety of economic development projects. This entails both existing business
and business recruitment projects. This
position currently reports directly to the President.
Education/Experience
The Project Manager, Economic Development, must
have a combination of education and experience commensurate with a Bachelor’s
degree in business or a related field. Several years full-time work experience
in economic development, marketing, or business development is preferred.
Experience with manufacturing companies is desirable.
Position

- Must have impeccable oral and written
communication skills
- Must have fluent computer
skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher (or like) and Word.
- Must have ability to create professional
written and electronic presentations and responses to RFPs.
- Must be passionate about promoting
Hutchinson/Reno County
- Must be able to effectively interact with the
Chamber staff, boards, investors, community leaders, elected officials,
existing businesses, Chamber members, economic development allies, and business
prospects from around the world
- Must exude confidence yet demonstrate humility
- Must have a sincere concern for helping
maintain and create new jobs around the region
- Must be adept in assisting with the retention,
expansion, and recruitment of jobs
- Must demonstrate existing knowledge of local
and state incentive programs or an aptitude and desire to learn the programs in
a timely manner
- Other duties will be required as assigned by
the Chamber President
