Space to... Do Business

Hutchinson and Reno County, Kansas have a rich history and promising future for business. The community is home to successful home-grown and transplanted businesses from all sectors.

Data Center, Inc., a software developer for the banking industry, was established in Hutchinson in 1963. Today the company is one of the leading providers of bank technology products.

Krause Corporation is a 90 year old Hutchinson institution that produces tillage equipment for the agriculture industry.

Lowen Corporation, the nation's leading real estate sign producer and a top graphics producer, was started in a garage in 1950. Today the company operates out of a new state-of-the-art facility in Airport Industrial Park II.

In the mid-1990's Alcoa Aerospace chose Hutchinson because of its close proximity to aviation customers in Wichita and the community's solid workforce. Now the majority of the aluminum skins on all commercial airliners are polished in Hutchinson.

These are just a few examples of what you'll find in Reno County. A solid workforce, a good business climate, and innovative thinking are keys to our successful businesses.
