 Kansas ranks No. 9 for job growth during the past year among the 50 states and the District of Columbia, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Kansas gained 8,600 jobs from October 2007 to October 2008.

In 2007, Collins Bus Corporation expanded to accomodate additional product lines. Also in 2007, Daymon Worldwide located a business service center in Hutchinson, and in 2010 they doubled the size of their facility.
